Student Council
The student council of the SVJCT’s Samarth Nursing College is made up of both faculty members and the student representatives. It operates under Student Nurses Association (SNA). The council is led by the Principal, who serves as the President, and is supported by faculty advisors who help guide students in taking on roles such as SNA Advisor and Treasurer.
The students hold positions such as Vice-President, General Secretary, Assistant Treasurer Incharge, Sports Incharge, Cultural Incharge Cultural Incharge, and Discipline Incharge. Each class elects its own SNA Representatives.
Purpose
To promote the well -being and interests of students.
Objectives
- Organize extra- curricular and student welfare actvities.
- Encourage participation in academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.
- Support the overall development and personality growth of students.
- Student council members must avoid political involvement on or off campus.
- They should contribute positively to academics, welfare and extra- curricular activites at university/ college/ recoginized institution.
- Members are expected to act respectfully and respnsibly, serving as role models for fellow students.
